POSITION OBJECTIVE The Mobile Communication and Device Administrator - United States is responsible for overseeing the deployment, management, and support of mobile communication systems and devices across the U.S. operations. This role ensures mobile technologies are aligned with business needs, secure, and cost-effective. The administrator collaborates with Third Party Mobile Communication Partner, Epiroc Information Technology (EIT) Mobile Device Management (MDM) team, Sourcing, and end-users to maintain optimal performance and compliance with corporate, country, and entity policies. REQUIRED PHYSICAL EFFORT Duties are generally performed in a professional office environment that involves walking, stairs, extended periods of sitting, frequent use of computer screens, which may result in eye strain or fatigue-and the occasional need to lift up to 15 pounds. Minor distractions from general office noise and other activities may occur. To promote wellness, ergonomic equipment, and regular breaks are encouraged. Reasonable accommodations are available to support individuals with disabilities in fulfilling the role's essential functions. If working on the production floor, the work environment includes being regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outdoor weather conditions. Work may also involve climbing up to 4-6 feet using ladders and crawling underneath rigs. May also be required to lift up to 25 lbs. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required while on the production floor or testing area. PPE includes Hard Hat or Bump Cap, Safety Glasses & Steel Toe Shoes.
