This Role

Reporting to the Director of Learning and Development, the Program Manager is a strategic role responsible for the successful execution of our department's goals and initiatives. This individual will lead a portfolio of projects, programs, and strategic change initiatives, ensuring they run smoothly, meet their objectives, and deliver measurable results. The Program Manager will act as a key liaison, working closely with functional heads across the Enterprise and external vendors to drive program success and operational excellence.

We are looking for a highly collaborative individual with strong program management experience to help us continue building a scalable, sustainable learning function within the organization.



Responsibilities

Strategic Program & Project Leadership

    Own and lead a portfolio of projects, programs, and strategic change initiatives, from inception to completion, working with internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Define project scope and lead the creation of detailed business requirements.
  • Manage project teams, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Facilitate and negotiate business stakeholder discussions and decisions, and lead working sessions and status meetings.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Establish and lead a continuous process improvement strategy for the department, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement a systematic measurement strategy and dashboard to track process data, report on department effectiveness, and showcase program impact.
  • Optimize the training lifecycle, from scheduling and communication to tracking and reporting, ensuring a seamless experience for all participants.
  • Develop and implement a department-wide reporting framework that provides key insights and metrics on program performance.

Curriculum and Training Management

  • Contribute to the strategic design of curriculum and supporting materials by collaborating with the Director of Learning and Development and subject matter experts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for training-related logistics, implementing systems to ensure all required equipment, materials, and communication are delivered efficiently and on time.
  • Travel to regional offices and job sites as needed to provide direct support for the department's training efforts and to gather critical feedback.


Qualifications

Experience and Education

Required

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in program or project management
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing a portfolio of complex projects
  • Strong business and data analysis skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification or Project Management Certification
  • Experience in learning and development or construction industries

Travel:

  • Travel may be required for up to 20-25% of the year


Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
