About the Position: The Director, Dam Safety, Hydro and Civil Engineering has the responsibility and authority to ensure the dam safety programs and engineering projects are fully implemented and to ensure high standards are maintained for dam safety and regulatory compliance at all Ameren generating facilities. The position is the single point of contact for non-emergency regulatory communications from Ameren to FERC and reports directly to the Vice President, Engineering Design and Project Management. The Director is responsible for Dam Safety and Hydro Engineering projects and hydro licensing requirements. The Director also oversees the Civil/Structural Design, Substation Design Groups and Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR) management for Ameren Missouri Generation. Key Responsibilities Include:

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Proven analytical skills, ability to make sound decisions with ambiguous information and analyze complex data. Creative self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as a team and with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong business sense and demonstrated ability to use good judgement. Excellent communication skills (verbal/written/presentation). Proficiency with budgeting and reporting system preferred. Additional Information: Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. Compensation Range: $161,100.00 - $249,700.00At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance. Director and above positions also include a Long-Term Incentive Plan and the option to enroll in a Deferred Compensation Plan.
