Description

If you're driven by national security, innovation, and integrity, we want to hear from you The CPSO is responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing the national industrial security program (NISPOM) and customer special access program (SAP) and sensitive compartmented information (SCI) requirements. This individual would also be the COMSEC lead and support the office with visitor and customer access control.The Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) responsible for instituting all customer related security requirements as it relates to the contracts being carried out in the Sensitive Compartmented Facility and Special Access Program Facility, to include daily security management oversight for multiple programs with overall responsibility for physical security, communications security, information security, operational security and security education as they apply to these programs, facilities and supporting personnel. In addition, this position may also be responsible for all COMSEC activities. Must have current experience in the U.S. Government, DoD, Intelligence, or contractor community in security management. Essential Responsibilities:
- Set up SAPFs, SCIFs, and Open Storage Areas in accordance with National Policy (physical security, facility security and access control, cryptography, personnel, etc.).
- Manage the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) /Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) in accordance with ICD-705/DoD Special Access Program specifications and customer specific government requirements (physical security, facility security and access control, network and IT security, cryptography, personnel, etc.)
- Administer and coordinate applicable aspects of security activities in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal security regulations, directives, and manuals for safeguarding National Security Information.
- Conduct Personnel Security processing actions including requesting, reviewing, approving, and submitting clearances packages up to and including Program Access Requests (PARs) and SCI nomination packages in accordance with customer requirements.
- Manage associated documentation and update appropriate policies and procedures as required.
- Preparation, Development and Maintenance of OPSEC, SOP, Protection plans, DD254 and other required security documentation.
- Prepares and implement security plans or CONOPS outlining regulations and establishes security procedures.
- Responsible for Access Control & Intrusion Detection systems (ACS/IDS) compliance auditing, Emergency Action Plans, performing self-inspections and developing and assists in implementing information system security educations and awareness.
- Prepare program access requests at the direction of program management
Conduct program security briefings. Assist in the preparation and administering of program indoctrinations and debriefings. - Interacts with corporate Security Directors and Program Managers, External/Internal Executives, various Government Agencies and Program Offices to include their security staffs.
- Liaise with other security staff and ISSOs/ISSMs to ensure security policies and procedures follow company, government and customers' requirements.
- Conduct Annual Self-Inspection using the customer specific Integrated Security Assessment Checklist and other Agencies specific Checklist; apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements.
- Administer and manage classified destruction program.
- Review, interpret and maintain Security Classification Guides and Program Protection Plans.
- Coordinate with corporate FSO and government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Perform other duties directed to Support Program activities.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Clearance Requirement:TS/SCI with SAP eligibility, willingness to take CI Poly
- Bachelor's Degree and/or
- 4 - 8+ years Facility, Program, Physical, CPSO and CSSO Experience
- Operational working knowledge of other relevant DoD security guidance as well as the Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) and Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs). e.g. DoDM 5205.07 Vols 1-4, DoDM 5105.21 M1, as well the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards.
- Proven track record supporting the DoD across physical, information, personnel, industrial, operational, and communications security disciplines, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance
- Ability to manage internal and external security record management systems (i.e. DISS, NBIS, SIMS, NCCS, JADE, Scattered Castles, etc.)
- Proven ability to deliver Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) programs
- Capable of monitoring-controlled areas and access/intrusion detection systems for compliance with physical and information security regulations
- The candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision on multiple tasks and work well under deadlines, frequently with quick turnaround.
