This position offers an opportunity to have a meaningful influence ona revolutionarytechnology. The research effort includes a diversestaff of theoreticaland experimental physicists, hardware designers and software engineers around the world. We are seeking an experimental condensed matter physicist, applied physicist, materials scientist, or electrical engineer with a background in qubit measurements to participate in the research and development of our qubits. ResponsibilitiesA successful candidate: Uses suggested measurement techniques to advance quantum practices and device Contributes to development and improvement of methods of measuring devices to gauge device characteristics and properties Collaborates across teams for efficient use of company expertise, including hardware, software, and algorithms. Documents work and makes results available internally and externally to the team to more easily leverage work across teams. Partners with others to measure characteristics and properties. Applies understanding of instrumentation involved (e.g., measurement techniques, wiring and filtering strategies for low temperature application). Other:Embody our Culture and Values |
