We're hiring a Loan Operations Specialist I to join our Team in Souderton, PA.



Responsibilities

  • Accountable for interpreting and translating consumer loan documents to the Jack Henry core system, including CIF input, AFT setup, FASB91 fee and cost records utilizing manual and automated processes. Advance initial funding and perform quality control verification of input.
  • Perform file maintenance necessary to record loan extensions and modifications including the calculation of interest accruals, billing adjustments and amortizations for every loan type.
  • Review and resolve documentation issues with lending groups.
  • Reply to written and phone inquiries of low to high complexity from customers, title companies, lenders and internal personnel pertaining to servicing related issues for all consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans.
  • Partner and consult with peers and managers to identify patterns, resolve issues, and achieve team goals.
  • Accountable for tracking, scanning, and verification of documents to the Synergy Imaging System including meeting month end deadlines
  • Coordinate storage and tracking of current loan files and removal of closed files from the loan vault. Provide documents from vault as requested.
  • Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm



Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 2 - 3 years loan operations experience or equivalent accounting/finance experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and relational communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend mortgage, commercial and consumer loan contracts and translate into core system.
  • Basic comprehension of billing calculations including accruals and amortizations.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively and freely in a team environment
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to research and report on a variety of issues using problem solving skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • PC and word processing skills required to utilize varying proprietary Windows based software applications
  • Familiarity with Jack Henry and Synergy or similar applications preferred

Wage Range:

The salary for this position ranges from $20.00 to $23.00
