The primary responsibility of this role is to support the quantitative, strategic, and non-clinical business needs of the department. The position improves the financial performance of the service line by enhancing administrative attention to detail in areas of financial analysis and forecasting, productivity management, expense management, and other special projects. The role also implements and maintains the financial and business goals and objectives, which ensure fiscally viable and optimal service delivery.

Essential Functions--Lead contract strategy in collaboration with supply chain, including negotiating new contracts, managing compliance, and leading preference item standardization with surgeons.
-Manage capital planning process; evaluate requests and recommend approvals; maintain capital inventory; and conduct multi-year planning.
-Support and participate in a plan for continuous quality improvement.
-Create a culture of high performance, collaboration, and accountability across the procedural area to drive operational efficiency and financial performance.
-Develop dashboards to monitor the performance of the department.
-Perform analysis and provide recommendations on revenue opportunities, including reimbursement and industry practice.
-Develop and manage the annual budget.
-Manage the billing process for assigned areas ensuring that charges that are submitted are timely, accurate, compliant, and appropriate.
-Lead key cost savings initiatives across various departments.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Business required or Bachelor's Degree Hospital Administration required or Bachelor's Degree Public Health required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Professional healthcare experience 2-3 years required and Finance or related experience 1-2 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting processes, and accounting practices.
