About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Cyberspace Exercise Planner to support the DLA Cyber Resilience Support Services program. This key personnel role is responsible for coordinating, integrating, and facilitating DoD and DLA cyberspace planning and exercise activities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DLA's Cyber Terrain and experience executing exercises in alignment with the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP) to enhance mission readiness.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:



  • Coordinate and integrate cyberspace planning and exercise activities with DoD, DLA, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform in-depth mission analysis to identify specified, implied, and essential tasks supported by cyberspace operations.
  • Develop and coordinate exercise training objectives, including the Master Scenario Events List (MSEL).
  • Input and manage MSELs within CJCS, COCOM, DLA, and other stakeholder exercise databases.
  • Assist in designing, planning, and integrating cyber effects into exercises to meet command training objectives.
  • Observe and evaluate personnel readiness and performance against exercise training objectives.
  • Provide post-exercise assessments, lessons learned, and follow-on action item tracking.
  • Utilize Government-provided automated tools to support exercise planning, execution, and reporting in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.


Experience Requirements:



  • 5+ years of relevant IT or Cybersecurity (CS) experience
  • Demonstrated experience with and understanding of DLA's Cyber Terrain.
  • Experience supporting Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP) or equivalent DoD exercise planning methodologies.


Certificate, License, and Registration Requirements:



  • DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification


Other Required Skills & Abilities:



  • Hands-on experience in DoD or Joint Cyber Exercises, including planning, execution, and post-exercise reporting.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills for developing exercise scenarios and training objectives.
  • Experience generating lessons learned and readiness assessments for leadership decision-making.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Top Secret Clearance

Other: Eligibility for Tier 5 (T5) / IT-I Critical Sensitive.

US Citizenship Requirements:

This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
