This entry-level role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, learning to install, repair, and maintain a wide range of equipment and systems.

If you have a mechanical mindset, a willingness to learn, and basic math skills, we'll provide the tools to build your future.

What you will do:

  • Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
  • Follow practices and processes intended to provide safe products that comply with appropriate laws and regulations, meet the company quality standards
  • Follow and commit to safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Perform limited tasks under close direction from an experienced skilled trades position
  • Learn how to operate, diagnose, maintain, modify, and repair various types of machines and equipment
  • Assist with setting-up, starting, adjusting, diagnosing, troubleshooting and properly shutting down process equipment
  • Learn how to dismantle defective machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas or to install new or repaired parts
  • Learn how to read and follow blueprint, schematics and manuals
  • Learn SAP production and maintenance processes
  • Maintain documentation and reports as required
  • Utilize various tools and testing equipment
  • Learn how to drive powered industrial equipment (PIT)

What you will need:

  • No experience or training is required
  • Math skills to include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Familiar with and ability to convert decimals to fractions or vice versa
  • Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude and knowledge of hand tools
  • Ability to observe, follow, understand, and evaluate processes demonstrated and other workplace procedures
  • Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial equipment (PIT) certification
  • Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues
  • Technical school or apprenticeship experience, preferred
  • Previous machine operating experience, preferred
