Join TEKsystems as an Entry-Level Fiber Installation Technician! Location: Omaha, Nebraska Pay Rate: $19/hour Are you ready to kickstart your career in tech and telecommunications? TEKsystems is partnering with a leading client in Omaha to build a dynamic team of six entry-level technicians who are eager to learn, grow, and make an impact. What You'll Do: * Get hands-on training in fiber optic splicing and network buildouts * Use hand tools to install and maintain fiber optic systems * Work outdoors in various weather conditions What You Bring: * Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction practices * A strong work ethic and willingness to learn * Ability to transport a ladder using your personal vehicle * A background in construction or telecommunications is a plus-but not required! Skills You'll Use and Build: * Fiber optic installation * Low voltage cabling * Coax and structured wiring * Telecommunications fundamentals Why This Role Rocks: * No prior telecom experience needed-just a drive to succeed * Tools provided by the client * Be part of a fast-moving, supportive team * Gain valuable skills in a high-demand field Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
