Communications Representative
Remote (U.S. only) | 20-Week W2 Contract | 40 Hours/Week | ASAP Start
Summary
We're seeking a skilled Communications Representative to support a key team member out on maternity leave. This is a 20-week contract role with potential for extension. While remote, candidates must reside in the U.S. This role leans more toward PR and communications rather than social media. Ideal candidates will have a background in media monitoring, writing/editing, researching outlets/reporters, and maintaining internal communication materials.
What You'll Do
Write, edit, and coordinate company-wide communications
Research media outlets and track media coverage
Support internal policies and communication procedures
Utilize digital publishing tools to develop internal and external content
Monitor company presence in the media and help shape messaging
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on messaging and updates
Maintain content consistency with brand and tone guidelines
What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience in communications, PR, or related field
Strong writing and editing skills (press releases, internal announcements, etc.)
Experience with media tracking and/or reporter research
Familiarity with digital publishing tools (e.g., CMS platforms, email publishing, etc.)
Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented
Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or related field preferred but not required
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $23.31-$24.21 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
