We have a great opportunity for an Assistant, Social Media & Strategy Promo Planning!!!! In this exciting position, the Assistant, Social Media & Strategy Promo Planning will be responsible for assisting with various administrative and project-based tasks for the VP of Strategic Promo Planning and the VP, Social Media. The Assistant, Social Media & Strategy Promo Planning will work closely with all members of the team as a liaison and have the opportunity to learn the inner workings of a Marketing team and explore various opportunities.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and manage department invoices, expense authorizations, and submissions to Accounts Payable
  • Manage the monthly Social Media Budget and track Expense Authorizations
  • Daily auditing of distribution platforms to ensure consistent messaging and capture support highlights
  • Assist in building team documents and templates, while organizing team drives where all team documents live
  • Help create team documents and templates, and manage team drives to store all team materials
  • Work with Social Media agencies to assist with invoice processing and meeting schedules
  • Assist the larger Strategic Promo Planning, and Social media teams with logistics, travel, and set-up for meetings and related activities
  • Assist Social teams with various partner and vendor onboarding and evaluations
  • Participate and contribute to team brainstorming sessions
  • Capture detailed notes during meetings and ensure they are accurately documented and distributed to relevant team members
  • Interact with internal departments, business partners, and vendors, coordinating marketing activities and logistics as needed
  • Support two VPs with calendar management, travel, expense reports, and other administrative tasks

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Prior media/marketing experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail-able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal abilities
  • Team player
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of people
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)
  • Interest in the digital media & entertainment space

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $21.00-25.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
