We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Director, Global Head Corporate Actions to join our Enterprise Custody Operations team. This team is responsible for the end-to-end corporate action's lifecycle globally, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and superior client service. This role is located in New York, USA - Flex Hybrid. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of corporate actions processing, including event identification, analysis, processing, and settlement across multiple markets.
- Develop and execute the global corporate actions strategy aligned with BNY's business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, managing operational risks effectively.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and client-focused corporate actions services to enhance client satisfaction and trust.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a global team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within Custody Operations through adoption of low-code/no-code technologies, such as Alteryx, Power Bi, Ui Path, to simplify processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operational risk.
- Partner across Operations, Controls and Engineering to identify and drive technology enhancements to accurately present and manage the risks identified in high-risk events.
- Provide regular reporting and analytics on corporate actions performance, risks, and market trends to senior management.
- Document market nuances and keep market nuances learning document up to date for future reference. Partner with learning pillar to deliver training on market nuances where required.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Extensive experience in corporate actions within the financial services industry, preferably in a global leadership role.
- Deep expertise in DTCC reorg processes through all stages of the lifecycle
- Experience in both Custody and Broker Deaker processes
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to corporate actions.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple geographies.
- Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and technology adoption.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $260, 000 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
