Job Description About the Job
As the Research Associate, you will leverage scientific and clinical data to drive brand differentiation and communications. In this role, you will collaborate with medical directors and support client strategy, relationships, and new business development efforts.
A Day in the Life
*Collaborate with medical directors to ensure technical accuracy and audience appropriateness of projects, and research and develop outlines and references as needed.
*Provide medical insights to clients, monitoring and identifying relevant literature and news articles, and setting up competitive alerts.
*Develop and maintain medical backgrounders, navigate key medical web tools, and disseminate relevant information to medical directors and internal teams.
*Participate in client interactions, onboard new team members, and contribute to business development efforts, including pitch materials and research support.
*Demonstrate strong time management, attention to detail, and flexibility, with a strong interest in medical subjects.
*Stay up-to-date with industry developments, participating in proprietary workshops and maintaining knowledge of key medical web tools.
What You Will Need
*Advanced degree (MS, MD, PhD, PharmD) in Clinical/Scientific field and professional experience required.
*Excellent communication skills, with ability to clearly convey complex medical concepts to diverse audiences.
*Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with ability to build constructive relationships with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
*Ability to manage multiple workflows efficiently, meet deadlines, and demonstrate willingness to assist teams beyond basic responsibilities.
*Strong content development skills, with ability to create scientifically accurate content, annotate documents, and incorporate feedback.
*Proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with ability to think strategically, demonstrate leadership skills, and follow standard operating procedures.
Salary
$63,000 to $90,000 annually
