As Senior Product Manager you will report to the Senior Marketing Director and work closely across the entire North American Infection Prevention platform for all sectors. You will be responsible for all product marketing needs of the disinfectant portfolio, creating a value proposition for each sector. This includes: portfolio rationalization and optimization; product improvement and development; P&L of assigned portfolio; and downstream marketing to support sales efforts.

As Senior Product Manager you will partner with internal stakeholders like R&D, Supply Chain and Finance to optimize the product portfolio. Additionally, you will interface with the Business Units' Sales and Marketing professionals to drive product sales and determine strategic direction of the portfolio.

Externally, you will partner with professional organizations, engage contract manufacturers, product development and market research agencies to build an innovative portfolio for today and tomorrow's business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with sector and portfolio teams to develop a successful value proposition and product line marketing strategy for Diversey for disinfectants
  • Update all online resources for internal and external stakeholders and markets, to ensure our product messaging is clear and concise.
  • Responsible for product portfolio and marketing leadership and execution of strategic goals for the Infection Prevention portfolio
  • Manage the portfolio by developing world-class innovation launches that drive significant growth and profitability
  • Contribute to Platform and Portfolio Product Strategies and Roadmaps
  • Analyze portfolio performance along key metrics, draw implications and develop recommendations based on key market trends
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Healthcare and Infection Prevention market & competitive position, report back on competitive moves and unmet customer needs
  • Build product strategy that moves Diversey's North America Infection Prevention portfolio forward by expanding current product mix and growing into adjacent product portfolios.
  • Work effectively in cross-functional teams to manage projects and provide support to product line activities. Relationships include but are not limited to R&D chemists, engineers, value chain, finance and regulatory
  • Manage product line maintenance and simplification initiatives. Work with Platform and R&D teams to vet, prioritize and execute regional range maintenance needs
  • Able to manage multiple, complex development projects while supporting the needs of existing product portfolio
  • Support sales and sector marketing in the development of portfolio-specific customer proposals, sales presentations and key customer program implementations
  • Serve as an expert in wipes substrate materials. Collaborate closely with the Sourcing team to facilitate wipes substrate supplier relationships to ensure optimal customer experience, cost, compatibility and sustainability features.
  • Be the relationship owner for our primary disinfectant registrants (Araxada, Stepan, Pilot, etc) and collaborate to bring new sub-registrations to market
  • Establish and own our claims strategy for all registrations and sub-registrations to ensure best-in-class offerings while optimizing label changes
  • Mentor the Sales and Marketing Support Specialist in product areas, helping with Agile and other project-related parts of product life cycle management on select projects.
  • Develop a program for a newly determined sub-sector, Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) in healthcare and become the SME (subject matter expert) in defining, building a strategic execution plan, and measurable growth.
  • Lead VOC collection North America, translate that data into business cases and deliver it to Central Marketing for entry into the innovation funnel.
  • Work with the sector leaders to optimize our portfolio value proposition for the IP products, and the offering to define and design the best approach to the markets we serve, by market.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Professional and effective facilitation skills - Should be able to facilitate group
  • High proficiency in the EPA registration process.
  • 5+ years' experience in digital marketing, building websites and analytics
  • 3+ years' experience in market research and planning
  • Requires strong communication and presentation skills, financial acumen, project management and leadership skills
  • Experience in some kind of healthcare would be great for this role

This position will be hybrid, 3 days in the Fort Mill (SC) office.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $105,600.00 and $176,000.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
