Staff Accountant
Potomac Falls, VA Pay From: $25 per hour MUST: 4+ years of experience as an Accountant MUST have Bachelors degree in Accounting is required MUST have 2+ years of experience using QuickBooks MUST have 2+ years maintaining and posting to the general ledger MUST have experience with AP/AR and Payroll Compliances Experience in Accounts Payable preferred Experience in Healthcare field preferred Must possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Ability to handle a wide range of accounting operations and willingness to perform hands-on work is essential DUTIES: Assist director with the preparation of monthly financial statements Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts Prepare and/or record general ledger entries including month-end accruals Administer biweekly payroll submission with ADP and record-related journal entries Provide timely information and special reports as requested Maintain required business documents Assist with support for annual tax and financial audits Assist with preparation of budgets Prepare month end journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles Assist in the various audits that are conducted throughout the year Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
