As a Commercial Territory Manager, you will be accountable to manage profitable new Commercial OE Coatings business for the Automotive Refinish group. The Commercial Territory Manager will work in partnership multiple Direct accounts, Territory Managers, Architectural stores and specialized distributors to accomplish growth goals. Accountability management and overall management will be provided by the refinish commercial regional sales manager. You will report to the Commercial Regional Manager. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a strategic, value selling approach and change to sales channel partners with internal partners and something about long-term relationships.
- Capture all available business in Business Development / Account maintenance.
- Identify new business opportunities in Commercial OE Coatings and Light Industrial Coatings.
- Collaborate with assigned Territory Managers and distributors to improve sales growth.
- Maintain and experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects with existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular account reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed growth goals.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Leverage available direct and distribution channel partners' to achieve sales objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure understanding on sales plans and customer needs.
- Fully remote, travel up to 50% of the time to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct market research.
- 100% of your available time on industrial sales growth and account maintenance
- Manage customer relationships, engaging them in value-added activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Experience sales in the coatings or automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial and industrial sales processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
