Special Projects Coordinator - Wire Administration

The Special Projects Coordinator will develop a deep understanding of systems and processes within the Wire Administration department in order to be primarily responsible for:



  • Leading Wire Administration projects and system implementations by defining requirements, overseeing solution design, coordinating cross-team collaboration, facilitating user testing and employee training, and tracking performance.
  • Leveraging existing and new technologies to identify opportunities for process improvement and leading initiatives to implement enhancements effectively
  • Analyzing, enhancing, and developing Wire Administration documentation including, but not limited to procedures, forms, checklists, worksheet tools, and process flow charts
  • Assisting the Wire Administration Manager with complex tasks and processing needs



Position Requirements



  • A project management certification or bachelor's degree.



    • A degree in finance, accounting, information technology, project management, or a related business field is preferred.
    • 6 years or more of experience in payments or bank operations may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree or project management certification.


  • 3-5 years of experience involving project management as a direct responsibility. Preference is given to experience involving banking product/process implementation, and/or bank operations.


  • Aptitude in prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously with a capacity to work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Project management skills with the ability to outline, plan, and organize the necessary activities to complete an objective involving different groups of people over a period of time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to gather information and establish priorities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with general guidance.
  • Ability to identify process weaknesses, bottlenecks, and risks, while driving corrective action plans.
  • Strong work ethic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to escalate issues and concerns appropriately.
  • Proven ability to exercise discretion, judgment, and independent decision-making while following procedural and company guidance and policy.
  • Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to quickly learn and navigate job-specific software and web-based applications.
  • Maintain a high degree of reliability.
