Description

Starting Salary Range: $109,000 - $127,000; position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.

As MISO's Systems and Storage Administrator, you'll manage and optimize cutting-edge compute and storage technologies. You'll be at the forefront of systems administration, maintaining and improving Windows Server environments while working with technologies like virtualization, automation, DNS, and file services. You will also provide support for a variety of technologies and services, including virtualization, automation, directory services, application delivery, file services, and DNS (name resolution). Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining backup systems, Network Attached Storage (NAS), and Storage Area Network (SAN) environments.

As our Systems Administrator, you will:



  • Deploy automated solutions for compute and storage that meet business needs.
  • Analyze and tune performance across hardware, OS, and applications.
  • Maintain Backup, NAS, and SAN environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep infrastructure running smoothly.
  • Create insightful reports on system health and performance.
  • We're looking for this person who has experience in both compute and storage related technologies.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.


What You Bring:



  • 6+ years of experience with compute or storage technologies.
  • Strong background in Windows Server, VMWare, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Knowledge in areas like Cisco UCS, SAN, NAS, PowerShell, and IT security best practices.
  • Familiarity with automation, scripting (Powershell), and virtualization tools.


Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
