Description

  • Perform cash management functions including disbursements, receipts, and reconciliations.
  • Develop, prepare, and distribute periodic reporting on key performance indicators and metrics to company stakeholders.
  • Regularly monitor financial transactions intramonth for accuracy and perform correcting entries, as necessary.
  • Participate in the month end and year end close process.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of company income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Monthly review and analysis of the results of operations, departmental spending, and operating variances.
  • Provide operations management with analytical support for financial results.
  • Participate in physical inventory activities including cycle counts and full physical inventories, as needed.
  • Assist in the maintaining accurate product costs through standard setting, method review, and cost rolls.
  • Participate in cross functional improvement teams to identify opportunities to improve business operating results, as needed.
  • Provide support for bank audits and yearly financial audits.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
  • Prepare all necessary state tax filings.
  • Provide support for the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) efforts of the business, as needed.
  • Completion of ad-hoc requests and projects as required.



Qualifications:



  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • General accounting background, with emphasis in cost accounting.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in the use of a variety of supporting software including Excel as well as experience working with an ERP system.
  • Must submit to and satisfactorily pass any pre-employment screening required for employment with the Company.


  • Must take medical exams required by law, in conjunction with occupation specific activities, the physical work environment, and ongoing industrial hygiene sampling results.
  • Depending on assignment, may be required to use stairs, remain upright and/or seated for prolonged timeframes, intermittently reposition the body per various tasks performed, and use various tools and work-related supplies.
  • May be required to perform manual lifting activities, not to exceed a 40lb lift performed by one individual.



Education:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
