Are you ready to lead and inspire a team while driving the strategic direction of key brands? We are looking for a dynamic professional to oversee marketing activities with a 12-18 month horizon for our assigned brand(s). In this role, you will provide clear strategic priorities for your team and lead cross-functional partners, developing and executing strong brand plans that align with our company's growth and profit objectives. You will be responsible for the P&L of assigned brands, actively managing trade-offs and brand health outcomes while coaching and mentoring team members to execute marketing strategies effectively.

As an agile Outcome Owner, you will identify consumer opportunities, prioritize work across teams, and lead the brand strategic positioning process. Your expertise in P&L management will allow you to leverage pricing opportunities and optimize the brand portfolio for both short-term profitability and long-term health. You will articulate and manage brand architecture, developing and leading the Sixth Standard strategy to create meaningful sales activity and consumer engagement.

Your deep understanding of channel dynamics will enable you to propose and align appropriate channel tactics, approve channel playbooks, and make investment trade-offs when needed. Monthly market visits will be essential to evaluate activation tools, respond to feedback, and identify emerging trends. You will identify and execute innovative marketing methods, define test and learn parameters, and deliver innovation briefs to cross-functional partners.

You will propose marketing mix, budget, channels, and tactics to deliver proof of concept or potential, owning the strategic POV on relevance of Opportunity Audience and Inspirational Archetypes. Your consumer empathy and insights will drive breakthrough creative briefs, and you will deliver the Creative Platform and Comms Strategy, providing clear feedback to partners and optimizing campaigns based on learnings.

What You Will Need:

  • Master's degree plus 5 years of experience to include 2 years of brand management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of sales, marketing, consulting, or agency experience to include brand management experience reflecting Page 3 of 4 increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of Gallo sales, marketing, hospitality, engineering or operations experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of sales, marketing, consulting, or agency experience to include brand management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Required to travel up to 25% of the time in-market in order to perform job duties.
  • P&L management experience.
  • Capable of influencing and gaining alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and operate with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. What Will Set You Apart:

  • Master's of business administration degree plus 7 years of brand marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a marketing or finance concentration plus 9 years of brand marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • 2 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
  • IRI Circana experience.
  • Experience leading & developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • CPG, Pharmaceutical, or Alcohol beverage industry experience.
  • Solid understanding of 3-tier distribution system.
  • Brand strategy & positioning experience.
  • On-premise marketing experience.

Compensation

  • Hiring Salary Range: $133,900 - $200,900/Year
  • Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
