We are seeking a versatile and highly motivated IT professional with a strong foundation in Windows system administration, networking, and end-user support, combined with a passion for AI development and automation. This role is ideal for someone in a small IT team environment who enjoys wearing multiple hats-balancing technical expertise with excellent customer service and forward-thinking innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, support, and optimize Windows-based desktops and laptops, including Group Policy, PowerShell scripting, patching, and system performance.
  • Provide advanced help desk support for local and remote users, ensuring fast response and resolution times.
  • Configure and maintain network devices, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points. Assist with subnetting, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configuration.
  • Develop and implement PowerShell scripts and task automations to streamline company operations.
  • Integrate and support AI-powered tools and workflows across departments, including productivity enhancements and internal automation projects.
  • Educate and support users in basic security awareness, assist with account security best practices, and contribute to IT security initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, and support procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and deploy technology improvements that enhance the end-user experience, while increasing company efficiency.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of system administration experience, ideally with Technical Support background
  • Strong proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and PowerShell.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
  • Experience with help desk ticketing systems, remote support tools, and Office 365 administration.
  • Working knowledge or hands-on experience with AI models, automation platforms, or tools like Power Automate, Python, or OpenAI APIs.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a small-team environment, managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Intune, Windows Server, or other modern device management platforms.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Meraki, Unifi, and similar network ecosystems.
  • Experience with chatbot building, natural language processing (NLP), or other AI/ML tools.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft 365 Certified, and similar) are a plus.
