This position works closely with the Assistant Director of Finance to organize and prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end consolidation schedules for financial close and annual budgets. Prepares routine financial reports, account analyses and various schedules for the BH Division. Provides support for facilities and coordinates requests to CFOs. Completes special finance projects throughout the year and handles UK Issues as they arise.

Collects and prepares routine financial reports, completes account analyses and prepares various schedules for the BH Division.
Completes various routine accounting and statistical analyses for VP of Finance.
Coordinates and responds to various requests from hospital CFO's, regionals and VPs.
Prepares Period 13's schedules.
Assists with year- end statutory audits.
Completes special financial projects and responds to UK issues as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Senior Accountant will need to multi-task for a multi-entity UHS structure. Must be detailed and goal oriented and have strong follow-through skills. Professionalism in dealing with all customers and ability to work with other UHS staff and/or resources are required. Strong analytical skills and intermediate level knowledge of accounting, proficient Excel skills; attention to detail and well organized. Ability to work independently and with the rest of the team. Able to travel.

* Bachelor's Degree required
* 3-5 years of related experience required (5-8 years preferred)
