Executive Service ENTERPRISE PROJECT MANAGER-SENIOR Department of Finance and Administration STRATEGIC TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS Nashville, TN Salary: $9,761.00 - $12,718.00 Closing Date: 07/31/2025This position is designated as hybrid. Therefore, you may be required to provide information about your criminal history in order to be considered for this position Who we are and what we do: Strategic Technology Solutions (STS), a division within the Department of Finance & Administration delivers business-driven technology solutions and services supporting state government. The General Government Business Domain oversees a portfolio of projects supporting the organization as an enterprise and assigned agency business units including IT infrastructure for state owned and leased buildings and customer agencies across the state through a shared resource delivery model. Key Responsibilities: Duties and scope of work includes all project management activities associated with the lifecycle of a project: 1. Developing project plans to identify resource and budgetary needs. 2. Provide contract management and coordination with vendors and suppliers as needed. 3. Provide feedback, project updates, and encouragement to team members. 4. Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget. 5. Provide timely risk/issue resolution; and other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Required Qualification: 1. Must have a bachelor's degree in appropriate field of study. 2. 5+ years of project management experience. 3. Proven working experience managing large concurrent projects. 4. Ability to manage multiple projects individually and as a team, all simultaneously. 5. Outstanding client-facing and internal communication skills. 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient using Microsoft Office products. 7. Interface directly with all levels of management and stakeholders. 8. Clearly define project requirements and expectations - Establishing levels of effort, scheduling, resource management. 9. Ability to motivate project teams and apply critical thinking skills to solve dynamic problems. Preferred Qualifications: 1. 8+ years leading large complex IT infrastructure projects. 2. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. 3. MBA or Master's degree in related field. 4. Experience working in the governmental sector (local, state, or federal) 5. Ability to communicate technical information in laypersons terms. 6. Certification in one of the following: Six Sigma, LEAN, Business Process Management (BPM). 7. Strong knowledge of project/portfolio management tools, such as eBuilder, Planview; and MS Project. 8. Understanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework and use of PMBOK concepts for managing projects.
