Purpose:

The Genetec Analyst plays a strategic role in enabling the effective planning, coordination, and delivery of complex energy, chemicals, and resources projects. With advanced expertise and a deep understanding of project systems and execution, this role supports cross-functional teams in driving performance, improving outcomes, and aligning with Worley's broader ambition to be recognized as a global leader in sustainability solutions. Operating at the heart of project delivery, the Senior Specialist contributes to the seamless integration of data, systems, and teams to deliver value across the lifecycle of customer assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support in the planning and coordination of project execution activities, contributing to the delivery of energy and resource projects aligned with sustainability goals.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams, helping to bridge disciplines and align technical, operational, and commercial aspects of project performance.
  • Develop and implement specialized project services processes, tools, and workflows to improve visibility, predictability, and efficiency across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and functional leaders to ensure alignment with customer expectations, project priorities, and strategic objectives.
  • Analyze complex project data and contribute to integrated reporting, forecasting, and planning that informs key decisions across the organization.
  • Guide and support other project services professionals, providing mentorship and technical insight to elevate team capability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to systems, processes, and tools, driving continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact proposals, presentations, and reports that clearly communicate progress, risk, and opportunity to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Operate with a forward-thinking mindset that supports the transition to more sustainable project outcomes and contributes to Worley's revenue-aligned sustainability targets.

What you will bring

Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:

  • Significant experience in project services or related functions within energy, chemicals, or resources sectors, ideally in global, multidisciplinary environments.
  • Strong expertise in project systems, planning methodologies, and integrated reporting tools used across the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead functional teams or initiatives and provide clear guidance and support to peers and junior team members.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to convey complex ideas and influence stakeholders through written reports, visual data, and formal presentations.
  • Proven capability to collaborate across disciplines, contributing to shared outcomes and balancing technical, commercial, and strategic perspectives.
  • Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and value creation.
  • Strong alignment with Worley's purpose of delivering a more sustainable world, including a proactive contribution to projects that support decarbonization, energy transition, and environmental stewardship.

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

  • University degree in a relevant discipline.

Preferred:

  • An equivalent combination of education and related experience.
