The scope of this work is to support Harmonia's federal government customer in managing a mature cybersecurity workforce equipped with the experience, appropriate training, education, and necessary skill sets to maintain and mature their customer's ability to identify, engage, monitor, communicate, and remediate the evolving cybersecurity and privacy threats to the Department's information assets. This work requires adequately reviewing, auditing, conducting gap analysis, developing, creating strategic and tactical plans in order to meet and implement various cybersecurity and privacy regulations, legislations, mandates, and directives protecting the governments information assets. The following services will be performed:



  • Cybersecurity Strategy and Engagement Support Services
  • Cybersecurity Communications Support Services
  • Cybersecurity Advisory and Strategy Support Services
  • Cybersecurity Design and Innovation Support Services
  • Cybersecurity Project Oversight and Enhancement Support Services
  • Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program Support Services


Position Description

We are seeking a highly organized and technically savvy Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate the delivery of cybersecurity initiatives for our federal government customer. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, federal IT governance, and hands-on experience managing complex technical projects in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.

The Technical Project Manager will serve as the central point of coordination between cybersecurity teams, IT stakeholders, and government leadership-ensuring that project objectives are met on time, within scope, and in compliance with federal standards.

Responsibilities:



  • Drive streamlined and efficient program and project management practices for strategic initiatives and investments, ensuring effectiveness and success.
  • Develop and mature OIS processes, tools, and documentation that enable governance, coordination, and communication across projects and programs.
  • Provide resources for documentation development, coordination, monthly reporting, and general project management activities.
  • Maintain communication, content, documentation, and deliverables on an internal collaboration site (including but not limited to SharePoint).
  • Create and provide meeting agendas. Document meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate regular status meetings to review current and future tasks.
  • Provide regular status reports.
  • Institute and maintain a process that ensures problems (potential adverse impact on activities and deliverables) and action items are tracked through resolution and provide timely status reporting.


Requirements:



  • A bachelor's degree and 15 years total experience.
  • At least 8 years of project or program management experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience supporting a Strategic Planning group or PMO.
  • At least three (3) years of experience with the following: Power BI, SharePoint, Power Apps, technical and non-technical writing skills, project coordination, strategic planning, project management, meeting facilitation.
  • PMP desired
  • Federal Experience desired
