Overview The Groundskeeper will maintain the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appearance of the entire grounds. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Inspects and Maintain entire grounds and buildings for debris or hazards and corrects or reports them on the spot. * Perform operational and safety checks on all grounds equipment before operating. * Always utilizes proper use of personal safety equipment. * Sweeps roadside, walkways, and gutters. Ensure all flower beds are clean. * Replaces burned out or broken light bulbs and fixtures. * Performs necessary masonry repairs. * Assist the engineers as needed. * Empties public trash receptacles. Replaces trash can liners. * Must be willing to work weekends and holidays * Other duties as assigned MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager. 2. Snow shoveling as necessary. ENVIRONMENT: Works in all areas of the property, both inside and outside possible in inclement weather. Must be able to work at various heights on ladders, roofs, etc. OCCASIONAL FREQUENT CONSTANT Sitting Standing Walking Bending Over Crawling Reaching Crouching Kneeling Balancing Pushing/Pulling Lifting/Carrying 10lbs to 70lbs Manual Dexterity Fine Motor Skills Gross Motor Skills Eye/Hand Coord.
