Job Title: Social Worker Location: Middletown, NY 10941 Duration: 12 Months to long term Shift Timing: 8 hr. day shift Job Description: Evaluating clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health. Provide clinical services to WTC EMS members and their families who present with a variety of needs including, but not limited to social, emotional, family, physical, and job performance problems as well as substance abuse disorders Conducting preliminary interviews and documenting cases from the initial consultation to the end of treatment Developing appropriate intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups Collaborate on intervention plans with other mental health specialists, doctors, nurses, and social workers Follow up with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients admitted to the hospital Identify and prevent behaviors that impede recovery Assist family members and primary caregivers in managing mental behavioral challenges Requested skill set: LCSW, LMTF, LMHC, or a related master's degree.
