Position Title: Kitchen Help
Wage: $15.00 per hour Shift: Mid-Day Hours: 11:30am-8:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great Kitchen Help position available at a company in Rock Island, IL. This is a mid-day shift position with the opportunity for hire. Kitchen Help Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Wash, clean, and sanitize all small ware, dishware, and other items by use of dish machines. - Operate dish machines according to standard operating procedures. - Set up and break down dish machine, three compartment sinks, and pulper. - Clean the dish machine and work area at the end of shift. - Prepare, cook, and present food items in accordance with standardized recipes and procedures to ensure quality and consistency in a high-volume kitchen setting. - Prepare ingredients and cook food items according to menu specifications. - Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and steamers safely and efficiently. - Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards are followed at all times. - Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift. - Assist with prep tasks and restocking items as needed. - Communicate with kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and time. Kitchen Help Requirements: - Must be able to lift up to 50LBS repetitively throughout shift. - Must be able to stand throughout entire shift. - Must be able to grasp, pinch, and finger product repetitively throughout entire shift. - Must be able to kneel, bend, and crouch throughout shift. - Must be able to walk and climb stairs throughout shift. - Must be able to work around food product. - Must be able to read and write. - Must be able to work in wet environments. davenport@qpsemployment.com IND065 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
