The Opportunity:The Administrator People and Culture (P&C) Operations is responsible for providing day-to-day support to the El Segundo P&C Business Partners, Compensation, Benefits, PC Technology, P&C Communications and related team members. This includes responding to P&C Business Partner and employee questions, resolving issues, P&C Systems employee life cycle data entry, providing P&C reporting, dashboard generation and basic analytics, and general support to the El Segundo P&C team. A successful candidate in this role would aspire to and eventually grow into a P&C Business Partner or P&C Center of Excellence role.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Handle day-to-day processes, to include employee data changes, creation of job requisitions, training support, and answering P&C questions for clients
  • Full end-to-end termination processing in a hybrid work model; coordinate with P&CBP, Shared Services, IT, Security and external vendors, as needed, to ensure a positive employee experience; creation and distribution of digital termination documents; conduct exit interviews remotely and on-site as needed; support termination to competitor process
  • Update/manage resources on P&C Access (SharePoint site)
  • Ensure compliance and integrity of all P&C systems data through various audit processes in cooperation with Mattel Global Shared Services, Compensation/Benefits & P&C Technology
  • Partner with P&C Technology, Shared Services, IT, and Finance teams on supporting tools/systems and troubleshooting user issues (PeopleSoft, Kissflow, Coupa, Oracle, Workday, etc.);
  • Serve as point of contact for both internal and outsourced Global Shared Services teams, ensuring that service levels are met, and processes are continually being improved; follows up on delinquent requests and escalate issues on behalf of P&CBPs
  • Maintain and deliver standard and ad hoc P&C reporting and analytics to and for the P&C team and business (e.g. overtime reporting, P&C dashboards, etc.)
  • Continue to support efforts to digitally enable the P&C function and supporting processes
  • Support Global Onboarding team in conducting new hire orientation as needed, including I-9 verification using EMPTrust and E-Verify
  • Support Global Compensation team with activities such as:
    • Inputting retention awards in P&C system (global responsibility)
    • Creating compensation memos
  • Maintain El Segundo P&C office space to include ordering office supplies, submitting Facilities and IT tickets, general upkeep of common areas
  • Initiate Overpayment Deduction Authorization forms to support Payroll's collection of owed monies by researching discrepancies, addressing employee questions/concerns, etc.)
  • Other special projects as assigned

What We're Looking For:

  • Demonstrated agrowth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years as a coordinator, and/or P&C Technology/Reporting supporting a fast paced department; experience working in an P&C department preferred
  • MS Office skills specifically in Excel (formulas, vlookups, mail merge, etc.) and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytic, organizational, and problem-solving capability
  • Ability to multi-task and self-manage/prioritize in a busy environment supporting 10+ P&CBPs
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with clients and team members
  • Exceptional detail orientation and organization skills (with strong sense of urgency and follow up/follow tP&Cough)
  • Strong, clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to actively listen and accurately interpret directions and instructions
  • Ability to think and illustrate 'big picture' focus as well as make sure the details are executed flawlessly
  • Maintains composure in highly stressful or adverse situations; ability to adapt effectively to change
  • Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with little oversight
  • 'Can-do' attitude and proactive, solution-focused individual
  • Experience working with HCM systems and digitally enabled processes, Workday preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat and InDesign) as well as AdobeSign preferred

The base hourly rate for this position is between$23.46 and $29.00.
