How You Will Create an Impact
  • As a leader within Argo Group Environmental, you'll command the strategy and execution needed to exceed goals, championing growth and excellence. You'll guide talented professionals, oversee pivotal programs, and tackle complex underwriting, all while shaping the future of the business.
  • Drive profitable growth by achieving monthly and annual production, profitability, and portfolio performance goals, including GWP, Loss Ratio, and Combined Ratio objectives.

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Expert knowledge of US GL, Environmental, and Excess Liability, including product nuances, compliance, and risk management that comes with your 8+ years of Environmental/Excess experience.
  • Refined technical mastery in insurance underwriting.
  • Proven talent for leading, inspiring, and developing underwriters into future stars.
  • Sharp analytical skills to navigate financial statements and complex data.
  • Exceptional broker communication, networking, and relationship-building prowess.
  • Impeccable organizational and time management talents.
  • Driven by customer and sales-focused behaviors: passionate, resilient, strategic, technically astute, proactive, and accountable.

At Argo, we value in-person collaboration as a vital part of our culture, which is why we ask our team members to be primarily in the office. This approach helps us work together effectively and create a supportive, connected environment for our team and clients alike.

For positions based in New York, the base salary range is $185,900 - $223,100, and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we're proud to offer a range of competitive and comprehensive benefits package.
