SUMMARY: The Community Data Exchange Collaborative (CDEC) is a Program of the Public Health Institute (PHI) with a focus on building the capacity of groups to work together to transform their communities into healthier environments. PHI has been dedicated to promoting health, well-being, and quality of life for people throughout California, across the nation, and around the world. PHI strives to generate and promote research, leadership, and partnerships to build capacity for strong public health policy, programs, systems, and practices. The CDEC leads the Ventura County Community Information Exchange (VCCIE), navigating the intersection of health and social services through information sharing and coordinated care. We are seeking a part-time Integration Engineer I with a strong foundation in integration processes, data architecture, and system connectivity. The successful candidate will bring experience working across a variety of integration scenarios-batch and real-time, API and file-based-and will be expected to apply best practices in data flow, transformation, and orchestration. While a solid understanding of general integration principles is essential, this role specifically utilizes the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform as our core integration middleware. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and managing integrations between external partner systems and our internal Salesforce CRM, using MuleSoft's suite of tools including Anypoint Studio, API Designer, and DataWeave. This is a part-time position that is expected to work 40% FTE with a standard schedule of 16 hours/week, with the potential to evolve into a full-time integration lead. This position is fully remote with the possibility of attending an annual in-person team meeting in Ventura, CA. This is a high-impact, growth-oriented role, beginning with close mentorship from a senior integration architecture team and transitioning into full ownership of integration workflows over time. You will initially work closely with a senior architectural team, gradually gaining autonomy and ownership of our growing integration ecosystem. Full pay range for this position: $100,661 to $151,630 per year based on 100% FTE. The typical hiring range for this position is from $100,661 (minimum) to $126,146 (midpoint) per year, based on 100% FTE . The starting wage is determined using a variety of factors, such as the candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity consideration and budget availability.
