Job Description:

As the CoBrand Acquisitions Program Manager at Southwest Airlines, you'll lead a high-impact, high-visibility program that powers a multi-billion-dollar credit card portfolio. This role is all about driving growth, including spearheading new account acquisitions through strategic marketing campaigns, digital innovation, and customer experience enhancements. You'll oversee the full acquisitions roadmap, from ideation to in-market launch, partnering closely with internal Teams across Digital, Technology, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Go-To-Market, as well as our external partner, Chase. You'll guide capacity planning and trade-offs, ensure business needs are translated into technical requirements, support testing and quality control, and uphold contractual obligations with stakeholders. You'll also generate and communicate financial estimates, and regularly deliver performance reporting to Senior Leadership. Responsibilities
  • Lead acquisition technology and digital ideation, development and launches for large, cross-functional capabilities and enhancements with Digital and Technology partners, to optimize and generate new credit card accounts
  • Develop business cases leveraging tech estimates with analytical partners, oversee technical business requirements that meet business needs, collaborate on project plans, facilitate capacity discussion and trade-offs
  • Develop contractual language in partnership with legal counsel, and ensure contractual obligations are met via business requirements, project plans, go-to-market implementation and in-market delivery
  • Analyze competitive landscape and leverage industry knowledge, business process, customer insights, and/or future needs to identify new opportunities or key challenges, diagnose root causes, and recommend performance drivers in order to create new revenue streams
  • Build strong relationships with financial services partners and internal teams
  • Communication proactively and regularly with partners on risks, actions, milestones, and performance updates, championing key initiatives and facilitating successful and timely implementation
  • Drive analytical partners for performance updates, storytelling and presentation content for senior leader updates
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Skilled in product management and project management
  • Knowledge of acquisitions marketing, digital marketing, including mobile marketing, website/ecommerce, social media, and/or other channels where financial contribution is significant
  • Knowledge of competitive landscape, and customer insights with vision to innovate and champion new products, programs and CX/UX from development to launch
  • Knowledgeable in technical project leadership and management, across large/diverse teams
  • Knowledge of credit card industry, consumer financial services, banking, payments industry, as well as financial or credit card product development
  • Skilled in developing business cases and executing against a strategic product plan
  • Skilled in strategic thinking and marketing strategy
  • Skilled in complex and/or technical problem solving, mathematics, and analytics to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Skilled in partner management and relationship-building
  • Ability to communicate in a flexible and effective manner
  • Ability to tell a compelling and relevant story that conveys well thought-out recommendations
  • Ability to gain commitment to shared goals with peers, team, external partner and Marketing department
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with external partner and other departments in order to influence business decisions
  • Ability to demonstrate high emotional intelligence in various situations dealing with both internal and external resources
  • Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Education
  • Required - High School Diploma or GED -
Experience
  • Advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
  • Product management
  • Acquisitions marketing
  • Technical and digital optimization, technical problem solving
  • Digital/online marketing, direct mail, or email marketing
Licensing/Certification

  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job

Other Qualifications
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive market salary from $100,700.00 - $111,900.00 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
