About Salesforce

We're Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too - driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good - you've come to the right place.

Salesforce is looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager, Product Marketing to join our AppExchange Product Marketing team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the narrative and drive adoption of the Salesforce Platform specifically for our Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners who build and list their solutions on AppExchange and AgentExchange. You'll be a key individual contributor, responsible for positioning the partner Platform vision and products, and empowering our partners to build and grow successful businesses.

The Salesforce Partner Ecosystem is a dynamic network that extends the power of our platform through innovative solutions. For ISV and OEM partners, this means an unparalleled opportunity to build, market, and sell cutting-edge applications that address diverse business needs. Leveraging the Salesforce Platform allows partners to tap into a vast customer base, benefit from our brand reputation, and accelerate their go-to-market. Furthermore, with the launch of Agentforce, partners have a new frontier for innovation, enabling them to build and deploy autonomous AI agents that automate complex tasks and drive significant business outcomes for customers. These solutions are then brought to market through our thriving marketplaces, AppExchange and AgentExchange, connecting partners with a global audience.

The ideal candidate is an expert in product positioning, a passionate evangelist, and has a deep understanding of the ISV and OEM market landscape. You'll use strong analytical skills to turn data into actionable insights, inspiring CEOs, CIOs, founders, and other key decision-makers at partner organizations to embrace intelligent, data-driven strategies for business growth and innovation built on the Salesforce Platform, leveraging tools like Agentforce, and distribution channels like AppExchange and AgentExchange.

Your Impact:

As a Senior Manager, Product Marketing, you'll be crucial in driving the success of the Salesforce Platform within our partner ecosystem. You will:

  • Define and Execute Strategy: Work closely with AppExchange Product Marketing leadership to outline and implement comprehensive strategies and content that clearly articulate our marketing vision internally and externally for ISV and OEM partners.

  • New Partnership Promotion: Collaborate closely with our Business Development team to craft messaging and promotion strategies for new partnerships, ensuring clear and compelling narratives for prospective and existing ISV and OEM partners.

  • External-Facing Content & Messaging Leadership: Develop compelling external-facing content, messaging, and visual presentations that help our internal teams generate and close pipeline with partners. This includes sales presentations, event content, website copy, blog posts, thought leadership research, promotional materials, and customer case studies. You will also contribute significantly to messaging efforts for the broader Partner Marketing organization, ensuring consistency and impact.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner daily with Product Marketing teams to build content, monitor performance, deliver presentations to diverse audiences, become a product expert, and conduct market research. You'll also collaborate with wider Cross-Cloud Product Marketing, Events, Corporate Marketing, Analyst Relations, PR, and Research teams to execute integrated content and programs.

  • Product Expertise & Evangelism: Become a relative expert on the overall market landscape and the Salesforce Platform suite of products, with a strong technical understanding of its capabilities and how partners can leverage them to build innovative solutions, including those utilizing Agentforce. You'll be comfortable presenting to small and large groups, generating excitement and mindshare with various internal teams, and will be looked to as a go-to expert. You'll also champion partner success on our marketplaces like AppExchange and AgentExchange.

  • Operational Excellence: Become adept with Salesforce software (and other 3rd party technology) to educate internal teams, run programs, and manage product and content marketing assets used to evangelize our products.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track and measure the impact of campaign efforts, identify opportunities to improve the quality and methods of product marketing deliverables, and optimize delivery.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Marketing or Industry Marketing, with at least 4 years in technology.

  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to understand and articulate complex platform capabilities, including Agentforce, and how they enable partners to build and list solutions on AppExchange and AgentExchange, to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong intellectual curiosity for using data to inform strategy and execution.

  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and functions; proven ability to simplify complex concepts.

  • Strong affinity for learning and using enterprise software at scale to run programs, as well as proficiency with various spreadsheet, presentation, and basic creative software.

  • Proven track record in crafting compelling product positioning and messaging.

  • High energy, compelling presenter, innovative, and creative mindset.

  • Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Confident personality with the ability to successfully drive projects with minimal guidance and present to leadership.

  • Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor's degree.
