1. Azure - across the board---compute, network--Azure core services 2. Automation--they are using PowerShell but would love if someone had some DevOps knowledge; manager was just learning Terraform so any Infrastructure as Code would be a nice to have. They are not using any DevOps methodologies but would like to "if we have the tools then we would use them...." i.e. "Azure DevOps" the tool, not the methods. Terraform/Ansible maybe a tertiary skill 3. Entra ID/Azure AD (same thing/different name)---they are working with in tandem with the security team for all of their Entra ID needs; nice to have someone that understands IAM (identity access management) for instance, Anthony's team is handing all of the Conditional Access but security is handling the MFA (multi-factor authentication) part of the job; someone that can cross-pollinate and speak security when it comes to access management---the PAM (privileged access management) is handled by security team. They are fully in EntraID so need someone that has done Active Directory in cloud not just on-prem. Regular maintenance and support 4. Zero Trust - Security and implementation---they would be open to other solutions such as Okta or other solution (mentioned Okta because it's more prevalent) 5. Server admin coming up with a sprinkle of networking 6. Rolling out Windows 11 migration---actively moving from Windows 10-11; someone with experience in Windows 11 or someone that has done a migration would be really helpful as they are trying to figure out the bugs there. 7. SCCM/MECM (same thing/different name)--they need someone who has experience working endpoint (they are migrating from SCCM to Intune as their endpoint solution)---this should be somewhat common in enterprise environments *Description* The Enterprise Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting Information Technology based systems and its affiliated companies while serving as a technical SME and/or resource on various IT projects and tasks. *Skills* Devops, Sccm, Systems engineering, Powershell, Azure, Automation *Additional Skills & Qualifications* - Reviews market trends within the space and recommends technology strategies to align with the business initiatives. Develops and maintains the technology roadmaps that drive innovation within the organization for all infrastructure hardware, software and cloud-based technologies to improve the customer experience, efficiency to innovate and excel. - Reviews technical designs to ensure that they are consistent with defined architecture principles, standards and best practices. Accountable for the availability, stability, scalability, security, and recoverability enabled by the designs. Works with business partners to ensure design meets desired outcomes. - Collaborates with both IT and business senior leadership to influence budget decisions for technology and business investment. - Governs the introduction of new technologies. Reviews, aligns, and drives technology plans with enterprise goals, business plans and business processes. - Translates business requirements into technical designs that ensure availability, stability, scalability, security, and recoverability. - Develops and maintains written policies, procedures, standards and best practices using vendor or industry standard sources to build and support Enterprise IT environments. - Manages cloud environments in accordance with security guidelines. *Experience Level* Entry Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
