This role is based out of our Burlington, MA office.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver on full life cycle software components for our mission critical, enterprise SaaS web applications
  • Support our commitment to continuous integration, unit tests, and functional automation
  • Take an active part in defining sub-component requirements and accurately forecast project effort
  • Provide attention to detail and a commitment to delivery of high-quality, stable deliverables
  • Work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multi-cultural, development and testing team
  • Be self-motivated; driven to achieve and exceed committed milestones
  • Display strong collaboration skills, including the ability to mentor and be mentored
  • Desire to work in a growing, fast-paced environment of innovation
  • Participate in the team's on-call rotation to address customer incidents in real-time and keep services operational and highly available
Required Skills:
  • Experience developing and maintaining large scale platforms and applications, preferably SaaS
  • Strong working knowledge developing in Java
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Experience working with Linux systems
  • Working knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Working experience developing API's or REST services
  • Ability and desire to own components and subsystems of a large-scale platform
  • Ability to share and collaborate with peers both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
  • Prior DevOps experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Experience with Maven, Gradle, Helm, Terraform
  • Core skills and some experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with Scrum in an Agile Development environment
Education & Experience
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical degree
  • 2-5 years of professional software development experience
