About the Role:

The PitchBook Marketing team propels company growth by supporting Sales and Customer Success with compelling campaigns, product marketing, events, and brand management. We partner closely with Digital, Creative, Analytics, and Engineering to own our web presence as a strategic channel for acquisition and retention.

The Senior Digital Experience Product Manager owns PitchBook's Brightspot-based web product-defining the vision, roadmap, and backlog for our digital experience. You'll partner across Marketing, Product Marketing, Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Security to intake stakeholder requests, translate them into prioritized features, and shepherd end-to-end delivery that drives performance, engagement, and SEO growth.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Product Ownership & Roadmap:

  • Triage incoming dev tickets, scope technical requirements, and partner with Engineering to deliver on time
  • Provide technical consultation on Brightspot architecture and integration patterns, guiding stakeholders through trade-offs and best practices as features are scoped and built
  • Coordinate roll-out plans, release notes, and rollback procedures across staging and production

Stakeholder Intake & Cross-Functional Alignment:

  • Serve as the primary interface for Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, Analytics, and Security teams
  • Facilitate roadmap planning sessions to balance stakeholder needs, technical constraints, and business impact
  • Communicate status, trade-offs, and success metrics to executives and cross-functional partners

Technical SEO:

  • Provide a technical SEO lens to requirements and success criteria (ie page performance, crawlability, indexation, etc)
  • Monitor and report on page-load speed, error rates, and technical SEO health; drive fixes and optimizations

User Experience & Technical Best Practices:

  • Advocate for accessibility, performance, and SEO best practices in every release
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering to implement component libraries, templates, and CTA frameworks

Culture & Leadership:

  • Model PitchBook's values: curiosity, accountability, and partnership
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, user-centric mindset across teams
  • Represent the Digital Experience product in leadership forums and external vendor discussions

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in digital product management or web-centric PM roles
  • Demonstrated success owning a content-management product (Brightspot or similar) end-to-end
  • Expert in Agile methodologies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release management

At the heart of our company is a belief in the power of in-person collaboration. Being together in the office fuels our creativity, strengthens our connections, and drives the innovation that sets us apart. Our culture is built on spontaneous moments-those hallway conversations, whiteboard brainstorms, and shared celebrations in each of our global offices-that simply can't be replicated remotely. This role is expected to be in the office 5 days a week.

The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.

Life At PB:

We are consistently recognized as a Best Place to Work and our culture is at the heart of our success. It's our fundamental belief that people do and create great things and that people are the cornerstone of prosperity. We believe that proactively seeking out different points of view, listening to others, learning, and reflecting on what we've heard creates a sense of belonging within PitchBook and strengthens the PitchBook community.
