The Warehouse Associate role works directly with the Warehouse Supervisor to assist with daily warehouse transactions, fulfilling and packaging orders for delivery and pickup, and handling materials and inventory to help maintain and improve the overall success of the warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Unloading and sorting palletized drums of recycling fluids, absorbents and filters
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Unloading and sorting clean totes and drums
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Loading empty totes and drums to trailers
  • Ensuring quality control by sampling, testing and adhering to operational procedures
  • Checking and pumping oily water and other liquid waste as needed
  • Unloading receiving trailers of raw materials
  • Development of best practice to increase productivity
  • Other duties as assigned



Education: High school diploma or GED

Experience and/or Training:



  • Previous warehouse / Forklift experience


    License/ Certification



    • Forklift CPR+



    PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

    The employee is frequently standing, walking, operating forklift, use of hand tools bending over, pushing, pulling drums or pails that can weigh up to 80lbs. Employee is expected to check and respond to emails and phones calls while on the job. Check computer database for customer profiles.

    ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

    Work is performed in a warehouse environment. Moderate noise levels at times to high level. Oily water treatment may have a metallic smell or sewage waste smell at times. Blending soaps will have concentrations of fragrances used. May need to work outdoors if needed in variety of conditions but typically not the extremes. This is a fast paced working environment and the characteristics described here are representative of those an individual may encounter while performing the essential functions of this position.

    The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between $20 and $26 hourly. This anticipated hiring range is based on several factors, and subject to increase based on the below:



    1. Experience and qualifications: The depth of relevant experience and specific skills you bring to the position.
    2. Education and certifications: Any additional qualifications that enhance your ability to succeed in the role.
