Job Summary

The Data Services organization is responsible for collecting, managing, transforming, and stewarding a complex suite of business data to a broad array of stakeholders across the Coca-Cola system. The Data Steward will be responsible for ensuring the availability, accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of our Coca-Cola system data.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with internal/external customers to understand, research & correct data issues
  • Collaborate with IT departments to create reporting data that meets Coke System requirements
  • Work with source systems to integrate data feeds & confirm accuracy
  • Adhere to established validation processes & document for SOC Audits
  • Prioritize tasks for file transfer partners
  • Integrate into customer teams by anticipating requirements & delivering exceptional service in analysis & understanding of raw data
  • Provide reporting details to help stakeholders of varying technical/business expertise understand data issues
  • Become SME in how data is used in downstream systems & direct stakeholders to appropriate teams to answer system specific questions
  • Offer guidance & enable stakeholders to make informed business decisions from data provided by customers
  • Proactively automate repetitive processes
  • Act as primary POC for source system data questions
  • Create & maintain master data mappings for system data

Key Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in handling extensive data sets and identifying anomalies as well as problems that contribute to failures.
  • Knowledge of the Coca-Cola Bottler Franchise System.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Foundational knowledge of relational data principles.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and syntax
  • Expertise in utilizing the Microsoft suite of tools, including Power BI

Required Travel

Travel is not expected in this job, however, employees may be asked to travel for meetings or training on occasion.

Hybrid Work Environment

CCBSS operates a hybrid working environment. This is a teleworking role that requires working at a CCBSS office location on a regular basis (or a minimum number of days per month or week) at the manager's discretion. The number of days required at a CCBSS office location is at the manager's discretion and is subject to change depending on business needs.
