Distributor Sales Rep. Inside

Position Summary and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for facilitating and assisting DSRs and customers regarding product inquiries or orders. This job requires excellent customer service and people skills. You must respond in a friendly and accommodating manner to customer's daily challenges and questions via telephone and email. This person must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position will require that you learn specific knowledge of customers' order guides and practices.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Responsible for communicating with customers, sales reps, buyers and management
• Takes customers' orders via telephone
• Communicates delivery status to customers
• Covers Will Call Counter (if needed)
• Responsible for special shipment of customer orders using, UPS, FedEx or Parcel Post
• Takes customer calls regarding product availability or complaints
• Must be an excellent problem solver
• Food Service Sales experience preferred
• Must have good organizational skills
• Must be proficient in the use of personal computers
• Must be excellent with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must have excellent time Management skills
• Bilingual is a plus
• Must be willing to work weekends
