Principal Trainer- Hospital Billing & Professional Billing

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Principal Trainer directs, manages, plans and coordinates the operational and administrative activities of Epic Training and personnel within the Hospital Billing and Professional Billing training realm.

1. Plans and administers Resolute Hospital and Professional Billing Revenue Reconciliation Workshop training.
2. Coordinates course development and/or procurement of outside training sources.
3. Develop and maintain Revenue Cycle Learning Home Dashboards.
4. Responsible for maintenance of library of training material and index of training sources.
5. Support end-users via on-site support, telephone, or on-call coverage
6. Work with application team through the entire life cycle of the implementation to become knowledgeable in decisions affecting use of the system and specific configuration for each implementation
7. Assist as needed with design and build of the system
8. Creation of TipSheets and training documentation for upgrades, projects and ad hoc request.
9. Apply in depth system understanding to current issues and design challenges in order to develop alternative solutions with pro and con analysis

Education & Experience: Finish

• Bachelor's degree in related area.
• Additional years of experience in applicable business area (clinical, operational or IT systems support) may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• 3+ Years experience building in Epic Training environment should be training certified in both hospital billing and professional billing workflows
• Epic Hospital Billing Certification
• Epic Professional Billing Certification
