Job Title: Benefits Analyst Location: Hybrid (Flexible) - Holyoke, MA
Industry: Non-Profit Role Overview: As a Benefits Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the administration, communication, and continuous improvement of employee benefits programs. This position offers the opportunity to work across the full spectrum of benefits, from health and wellness to leave management and compliance, while contributing to a collaborative and mission-driven HR team. Key Responsibilities: Benefits Program Administration * Manage day-to-day operations of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans. * Track and process education reimbursement and benefits. * Ensure accurate and timely enrollment, changes, and terminations in benefits systems. Leave and Compliance Support * Assist with the intake and coordination of leave of absence requests, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and Workers' Compensation. * Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations related to benefits and leave. * Serve as a liaison between employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth handling of leave and accommodation cases. Employee Communication & Engagement * Present benefits information to employees during onboarding, open enrollment, and wellness events. * Develop and distribute clear, engaging benefits communications such as guides, FAQs, and email campaigns. * Respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and clarity, ensuring a positive experience. Process Improvement & Documentation * Identify opportunities to streamline and automate benefits-related processes. * Create and maintain documentation for benefits procedures and workflows. * Support audits, data integrity checks, and invoice reconciliation to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Project & Event Support * Contribute to the planning and execution of benefits-related events such as webinars, fairs, and wellness initiatives. * Assist with special projects related to benefits strategy, vendor management, and policy updates. * Collaborate with HR colleagues to support cross-functional initiatives and seasonal priorities (e.g., open enrollment). What You'll Bring: * A strong foundation in benefits administration or HR operations * Comfort with data, systems, and process documentation * Excellent communication skills, especially in presenting complex information clearly * A proactive, curious mindset with a drive to improve processes and support others * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
