Role Summary

The Program Manager will drive the operational tracking and execution of the Rivian Adventure Network, ensuring process efficiency and alignment with business needs. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who brings structured clarity to complex cross-functional programs and can build relationships across teams at all organizational levels.

The right candidate will have the skills to develop, implement, and continuously optimize processes from a clean slate, demonstrating a deliberate and consistent approach to their work. They will excel at gleaning actionable insights from data and ensure timely delivery in a rapidly evolving business and industry. This position reports directly to the Director, Rivian Adventure Network.


Responsibilities

  • Work cross functionally to define, track, and optimize network efficiencies. This involves identifying bottlenecks and structuring workflows across tools and systems of record ultimately improving efficiency and clarity, accelerating EV charging deployment.
  • Utilize operational experience and performance data across multiple sources to establish and close feedback loops, enabling management and reporting of milestones for ongoing network operations, site deployments, product introductions, and similar. This includes crafting and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying deviations from plan.
  • Create clarity in ambiguous environments, defining clear pathways and actionable plans for Rivian Adventure Network's evolution and expansion.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies for the DC charging network, utilizing analytics to identify opportunities and justify program investments.
  • Drive the team's operating rhythm by establishing structured processes across working teams and leadership levels, populating, managing and optimizing systems of record and tracking accountability for follow-up actions
  • Growth mindset to expand the program and team to deliver at scale.
  • Ability to consider the voice of the customer(s) within program development and execution.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Program Management experience supporting business strategy, operations, and customer success.
  • Proven ability to track execution in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and complex. Excel skills are a must.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with an emphasis on cross-functional program management.
  • Ability to utilize cross-functional project management and analysis tools to manage teams and projects efficiently (e.g., Excel, Confluence, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complexity and ambiguity into manageable progress.
  • Required to communicate via Slack, e-mail, and phone.

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for Palo Alto, CA based applicants: $132,000 - $165,000 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
