Job Summary

The QA/QC Technician I is responsible for assigned project specific Quality Control programs and site specific plans from beginning to project completion. Conducts quality control (QC) inspections on materials, and installations, etc., at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards. Captures quality data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards.


Essential Duties

  • Conducts Quality Assurance activities on designated job sites/projects, including quality walks, inspections, verification of work against plans/specifications, punch list creation and management, and coordination of field testing. Reviews plans and specifications to ensure alignment with the actual installations.
  • Coordinates and oversees field testing of entire systems to enhance quality control measures. Gathers quality data for projects and facilitates communication between the office and field to proactively address any quality issues.
  • Inspects that all trade activity meets company standards. Creates and maintains quality documents and records, such as test reports, checklists, etc.
  • Develops and maintains internal and external customer relationships.

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or GED is a minimum requirement. An Associate's degree in Quality Assurance or a related field is highly desirable.

0-2 years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience specifically in the commercial mechanical and plumbing sector.

Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and quality control standards.
Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
