Job Responsibilities:
Web Requirements:
- Lead the day-to-day management and content updates of the resort website, including strategy development, copywriting, outlining content, and executing updates with a focus on enhancing user experience.
- Create and manage content for the resort's product purchasing platform, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand standards. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary details, coordinate assets, and support timely product launches.
- Partner with ancillary departments to deliver accurate, helpful information and upsell opportunities related to products, activities, events, and resort-wide offerings.
- Act as the primary liaison with the Alterra corporate Digital team, communicating enhancement opportunities, technical issues, and updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on website analytics, providing actionable insights to the marketing team and stakeholders.
- Manage SEO, ADA compliance, and schema to ensure accessibility and visibility across search platforms.
- Maintain and update content across additional digital platforms including the resort ChatBot, weather platform, and Shopify through regular audits.
- Develop blog content strategy by generating topic ideas and writing engaging posts. Responsible for writing, building, and publishing blog content in WordPress.
Mobile App Requirements:
- Collaborate with the Alterra corporate Digital team to manage resort content within the shared mountain app, including regular production updates and content execution.
- Partner with ancillary business units to ensure accurate, engaging information and upsell opportunities are delivered through the shared mountain app and owned apps.
- Develop messaging strategy to inform, engage and upsell guests through shared mountain app and owned apps.
Requirements:
- Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to craft engaging and on-brand content.
- Solid understanding of website strategy and content management systems. Experience with Sitecore preferred, familiarity with Shopify, WordPress, and Mountain Powder is a plus.
- Working knowledge of digital tools and platforms including Google My Business, Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and basic HTML.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong initiative.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and problem-solving.
- Skilled in building effective cross-functional relationships to align with broader organizational goals.
Preferred Experience:
- 1-3 Years in Marketing or Related Field
Education:
- 4-Year Degree in Marketing, Computer Science or Similar Field
