Royal Oak - Full time, day shift,$3500 sign on bonus! About the Unit Our team is comprised of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Our inpatient pharmacy team collaborates closely with healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication management for hospitalized patients. We oversee the medication storage, distribution, and management in a variety of settings. We review medication orders for accuracy and potential interactions, accurately prepare and dispense medications, provide evidence-based drug information, monitor drug levels to optimize therapy, and educate patients and families about their medications. By prioritizing medication safety and minimizing adverse events, we strive to improve patient outcomes and contribute to their overall well-being. Scope of Job The Pharmacy Stock Technician will support inventory control related activities at Butterworth Hospital in collaboration with the Inventory Control Coordinators, Pharmacy Buyer, and Inventory Control Specialist.
