Description
The Underwriting Assistant is responsible for supporting the underwriter with quotes, new business and existing business. This role is responsible for data collection, quote preparation, documentation management, and ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements. The Underwriter Assistant will review and request missing paperwork needed for new business, renewals and changes. This position will provide clear communication with our internal teams regarding what is needed or what is changing for groups. The assistant plays a critical support role in helping underwriters make timely, accurate risk decisions and maintain a smooth workflow. Hourly Rate of Pay Starting Rate: $19.70/hour The pay rate offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
