Your Impact As the Manager of External Worker - Tech, you will lead and develop service delivery teams to implement external worker engagement models that support Tech Enablement (TE) and Asset teams. You will partner with the business to align on Total Talent Management strategies, recommending best-in-class delivery models to meet their evolving needs. As part of the McKinsey Optimize function, you will play a key role in delivering seamless, efficient, and high-quality external workforce management services, ensuring exceptional and productive user experiences. In this role, you will collaborate with functional teams and a Managed Service Provider (MSP) to drive operational excellence, enhance user satisfaction, and mitigate risks by ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements across a dynamic global environment. Your qualifications and skills Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PhD) or equivalent work experience preferred (varies by region). 5+ years of experience in external worker management and people leadership. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, leveraging data and logical reasoning. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to independently initiate and complete tasks. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages, adaptable to diverse audiences and seniority levels. Proficiency in creating high-quality deliverables (e.g., PowerPoint decks, Excel models, written materials). Exceptional time management in a dynamic, autonomous work environment.
