Summary Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of all traffic signals, Opticom preemption system, school flashers and traffic signal communication systems throughout the City. The position works in a lead role to assist the Traffic Signal Supervisor in the distribution of daily assignments and to provide field supervision for traffic signal technicians as required. Number of Direct and Indirect Reports (include titles): 4-Traffic Signal Technicians Pay Range: $22.20 - $28.79 (Depending on your qualifications and experience) Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Physical Requirements / Work Environment The incumbent works with frequent exposure to unpleasant environmental conditions and/or hazards. Majority of work performed outside or with exposure to risk. Job requires working from an aerial device at heights up to 40 feet. Job requires working with energized or live electrical circuits, hand and eye coordination and dexterity of hands; lift and balance up to 100 pounds. |
