Microsoft Tax & Customs Department is responsible for Worldwide Tax & Customs Reporting, Compliance, and Planning, including the technology and process & innovation functions to support the coordination of the worldwide tax and Customs functions. There are four major functions within the Tax and Customs Department. 1) Tax Reporting and Transfer Pricing 2) Customs, Tax Process & Innovation, 3) Corporate Tax Planning & Controversies, Indirect Tax & Global Business Initiatives 4) Tax & Customs Controllership, Policy and Benefits Taxation. We are excited to hire a Senior Director, Transfer Pricing to lead this critical work.
Responsibilities Set Microsoft's global transfer pricing strategy, policy, and procedures. Manage transfer pricing aspect of acquisitions and integrations. Manage foreign transfer pricing controversies, APAs, and support Microsoft's on-going IRS audits.Partner across different regions and business units to ensure Microsoft's transfer pricing practices synchronize with changes in Microsoft's business. Support transfer pricing aspects of tax legislative developments including OECD initiatives. Lead the team to execute transfer pricing SOX controls and ensure accuracy of transfer pricing reporting for financial statements. Ensure Microsoft is a role model in global transfer pricing compliance through partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
